Rochester Institute of Technology’s Annual Expressions of King Legacy

NN Newsroom weekend anchor Fredricka Whitfield will be the keynote speaker for Rochester Institute of Technology’s annual Expressions of King Legacy celebration next month.

Whitfield will open the program that takes place from noon to 2 p.m. on Jan. 26 at RIT’s Gordon Field House and Activities Center.

All events for this celebration are free and open to the general public. Registration is requested for the noon keynote address and program.

U.S. Circuit Judge Robert L. Wilkins, who serves on the Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, will also participate in the King Legacy celebration. He is the author of Long Road to Hard Truth: The 100-Year Mission to Create the National Museum of African History and Culture. 

Wilkins’ book tells of his determination to help make such a museum a reality.
